Asbestos, Here We Come.
We got some pretty crappy news that this house was filled with Asbestos. So, before we could do any demo. It had to be remediated. That means, they go in with serious hazmat clothing and do their stuff.
Take a look at the progress.
Here’s a fun little video showing the Asbestos tent and the interior demo work
And here’s a link to finding out more about asbestos exposure.
Spray paint arrows and X’s mark the exterior areas to be demo’d.

Seriously. The water was off. So, at this point, the only way to use the toilet (in emergencies, only) was to fill it with a few buckets of water. So many buckets, that it inspired me to do some sort of public info video to show the water waste with ONE toilet flush!!!
Here’s the star of the show

Take a look at the remarkable materials underneath the dry wall. This whole house was built was super dense vertical grain Fir. It can not even be purchased today. Also look at how the spanish details were built. Just amazing carpentry!
Here’s my Fred Flinstone feet on top of some 1950’s linoleum which was covered with about 3 levels of newer linoleum. #FunArtifact
Thanks so much for joining us. Please keep your eyes peeled for much more where this came from.
I am seriously months behind and have photos and videos to prepare, just for you.
