Weaver Drive :: Things are coming to life

THINGS ARE COMING TO LIFE.

We've been busy doing a million things at Weaver. One project that I'm particularly excited to share with you are the renderings we had done. I am giddy with excitement. Take a look.

FRONT VIEW

Here is the front of the house from the street. Lance had the foresight to put an electric charging station in the carport so we put a Tesla in there charging!

Check out our cork floors!

We are using Cali Bamboo in Twilight Gray.

So when I first saw this house, I insisted that we needed to float polished cement throughout. Then we started getting estimates. Let's just say it was a little cost prohibitive. And hard. And cold.

I had been working out at Lift in Willow Glen and spending a lot of time staring at these gorgeous cork floors (while in plank position). They were soft on your feet and super durable. So we looked into it and realized they had a ton of options and color choices. Even one that resembled the color of cement. The cost was much better AND they are a reclaimed material which made us feel all warm inside. So, there you have it.

Here it is. Up close and personal.

Here's a link to their website so you can see more. I'm a fan!

We love our installers!

Bill Schoy and his team (including Buddy) absolutely hooked us up. The craftsmanship was outstanding. And I want to keep installing floors so this gorgeous Pitt mix can keep coming back.

Here's one of our lovely installers.

Kitchen Update

Big step: Cabinets are being installed. But, before I show you, here's a reminder of the materials we are using.

Here's the kitchen (with new floors) before the cabinets.

I know it's not super sexy yet but y'all just wait!
